This is a new thread about PS3 Home, Beta and your hopes and expectations etc. Got my beta key last week and must say im impressed. I have a clubhouse so if you would like to join please add Neoki1 And then the club house is called Scream I have also unlocked the Echochrome outfit and was so close to unlocking the Ice Breaker one as well. Please feel free to upload pictures of your apartments, Clubhouses and more importantly your Character in the Home World
I only log in to home once in a while to check out the updates. Given what Home is, it's hard to "test" it when it's functionality probably works best when you have the whole user base and not just a handful of invites. I am glad there are lots more, and trust me, I've seen home since the early days (first wave of invites last year) and it's change quite a bit and made alot of progress. I've said it in other threads already but my main expectations of Home are in the form of publisher/developer support. I hope to see more things like a Home space dedicated to Tokyo Game Show (like this year in the Japanese Home client) and in the future E3 and other convetions. The test run of the Far Cry 2 and Uncharted Home spaces were alright, but I think there could be more. The Far Cr 2 Home space was pretty bland if you ask me after I went through it. Alot of space with nothing to do in it. The Uncharted Home Space was awesome. Bar feel, video clips to watch, Jukebox, Arcade Machines. It was good.
they just took the (wii mii/avatar) system and raped it in to awesome, ps3 for me. Edit- Its like the avatar system on the xbox and wii, but cool.
How do I access this Home? I am in the playstation menu but cant do diddly squat related to home? I click on account management also, and it crashes and I cant do anything except hold the ps button and turn it off....? Help!!
i think they must be screwing around with the network now to get ready for it. i can't sign into PSN.
i believe it's not fully working yet. housemate can't get online either. he showed me a link on a playstation forum from one of the EU Home managers who said they were having technical issues that needed to be solved before it could go live.
installed - Keeps coming up with an error every time it trys to log on: Network error Connection to the server was lost C-931 Anyone else have this problem?
yeah, i got in. probably 200 people wandering around seeing the new shiny shiny, didn't look like anybody was talking to each other or anything. a bunch of people trying out their dance moves looking incredibly stupid. there's a couple of shops with some clothes for sale for 50c, and ads for stuff, and that's about it. pretty useless tbh. until they let you punch people i'm going to ignore it. couldn't find that red bull air race minigame they showed in the promos.
