Well I have all my rigs running f@h now. Its only been running for a day in the background mostly. I have gotten 1628 points/9wu so far, after 23 hours.
    E6300-2gb/HD3650(DDR2)
    E6300@3ghz-4gb/HD3650(GDDR3)
    E8100-4gb
    Celeron D 3.3ghz
I am building a new rig soon and will be running f@h on it to, with a 5400+ BE@3.2ghz, and a 3650(Gddr3) from above, while I get a GTX280 after Christmas.

Just been skipping through this, and for some of the people in previous posts i feel i should clarify that 'PPD' is 'points per day' so yes, this is averaged over a period of time...

    Don't forget the 2, 3 and 4 series :p

Just a quickie as well, those of us with 1 gpu and a dual/quad/daft core CPU should run a CPU client on each spare core.

    MATH BIT:
Number of clients you should be running on your CPU = CPU cores - GPU cores

Im running a single 4850 client and 1 CPU client on my AMD X2. Little bit more productive :D

Heh, I'd forgotten about this :D
Seems like I had a PC somewhere slowing folding away for me, looks like its dead now though.

Electricity's too expensive now to get back into folding.

Thinking about throwing together a purpose built folding pc, got enough parts except for the GPUs.

Anybody got some PPD figures for 8800GT vs. 8800GTS?

Just decided to get back into a bit of folding, got an 8600gso xxx and an e5200@3.5GHz on the job, that GPU will be changing to a GTX 260 in the next couple of days. My current renting place is all bills included so no problems with electric costs :)

Just got my media PC folding too, X2 4400 @ 2.4GHz, on 2/3rds usage so i can still stream media and watch dvds.

I've also been playing with running 2 instances on my cpu and one on the gpu. Set the cpu instances up with one running at 100% and the other at about 70%, then set the affinities to be on different cores, then set the affinity of the gpu instance to be the same as that of the cpu instance set at 70% load and it all seems to run nicely, no conflicts and enough cpu cycles to keep the gpu instance happy :)

I'm not sure how many 'points' a 25000000-er is, but my gfx card chews through them in an hour and a quarter-ish. I'm tending to leave it running if all I'm doing is browsing.
