i just started in modding recently, my 1st build didnt really turn out good.
now i planning to start my 2nd mod in my free time.

i bought my 1st lian li 3 month ago. plan to get a blact v350 but not available. in the end i bought a lian li v600.

bored with the looks of in after 3 month, i started my mod on it.

    cut out.

in the process of cutting. i used up 15 of my 25 pices cutting disk. :jawdrop:
    need to get more.

i have no budget on water cooling system.
only led fan will be in place on the grill to provide the effect.

How about a bit of detail on the plexi between the case top and the grill?

    What grill did you use?

I believe that u have used disks like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/517B9XCGF6L._SL500_AA280_.jpg that are simply for non-metal cutting purpose. You should use disks like this http://www.silentmods.com/templates/images/texts/3_7186_pc_window_dremel.jpg and i think everything will be ok ;)

P.S. Sorry i know my english is crap but i hope that you understood what u was trying to say.

yup, the disks come as stock cut of disk. there are 2 type of cut off disk comes with this rtx. the other stock which is so useless break every time i make scratch on the aluminium.

i think the one u shown http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA280_.jpg is the thin one which only managed to make scratch.

Unless you have a good cable management plan with that location of the PSU, I think it's fine. Nice mod by the way.

    thanks

well. the psu is placed there so that big tower coller can be fitted (the only problem faced by this v600 casing).

cable management would be much problem as all the cable are routed behind.

Won't the PSU blow hot air into the case?

Sorry if I missed anything, it's 3am. :eyebrow:

The PSU plug would also be on the inside of the case, an eye sore and annoying to unplug.

yup, but the psu's hot air wouldnt be as irritating as the limited amount of processor cooling. by mounting this way we can show off the processor cooling.

    similiar mod in our country.

this guy work are way better than mine. :sigh:

i should keep the grill on top or i should change to clear arcylic top with 2 x 80/92mm fan?
