    I think EA's DRM model is more to blame than the quality of the titles - I know there were a few games I would have bought if the DRM wasn't so restrictive.

    Mmm, wasn't Spore the most pirated game since The Sims 2? Though no doubt the Sims 3 + expansions will keep EA pretty well financed for a few years to come..

    Also, most of EAs games these days are repeats of last years titles, e.g., FIFA *insert any year since about 1995*, though with occasional gems such as Mirror's Edge (though I didn't find that particularly thrilling).
