How is it locked? Where is the lock? Does it look sturdy or flimsy? Usually the locks on computer cases aren't really bombproof, so you should be able to open/destroy it yourself.
Can you post a picture of the keyhole? It might be time to get creative with a hair-grip or similar!!
+1 it shouldn't be too hard, and it doesn't exactly matter if you damage the inside a little as its not going to be used for proper security.

You could always get a team together to help you. You will need at least one each of the following: Cultured looking leader guy with salt-and-pepper hair and a nickname Black guy with an eccentric personality who is an explosive effort Nerdy looking computer hacker guy Handsome daredevil type guy who drives a BMW very very fast Beautiful blonde girl who likes to live on the edge Arrogant guy with a british accent Small gymnist type guy with amazing atheletic abilities. Once you have all of those people, you need to design an elaborate plan to break the lock. I suggest that it involve some sort of high speed car chase through the drainage canals in Los Angeles. You'll also need the gymnist guy to curl up into a ball and enter the case through the 80mm fan hole, to work it on the inside. The computer hacker needs to hack the internet around the computer, and duplicate it to a remote location. The black guy (I recommend Don Cheadle) must plant explosives on the lock. The british guy must say "bloody" at every opportunity. Have the leader type guy have a strict set of criminal 'rules' that he follows. Then fall in love with the girl while your buddies open the case for you.
