so today is oct 1 and to the best of my knowledge today is the release date of the PSP GO so i get off work at 1.15am so i figgured i would swing by the local walmart and pick one up. i go in and i dont find any thing that would point to there even being a psp go. i asked the lady who was working in the gaming department and she said that she had never hurd of it. so i called two other walmarts and spoke with there managers and they had not been told any thing about it so no they were not releasing them. i jut got home and checked on there web site look at this screen cap DOSE THAT NOT MEAN THAT THEY WILL BE SOLD TODAY!!!! EVERY THING IVE READ EVERY WARE HAS SAID THAT THEY WILL BE SOLD TODAY i could be wrong and that just might be when the pre-order becomes available. oh well ill find out in 7 1/2 hours when best buy opens im so pissed off at walmart
Did you honestly expect walmart to start selling it (let alone stock it) at 1:15am? If walmart is planning on selling it today, then it would probably be at least the afternoon before you could find it. And of course you can't rely on people that work there. Same thing happened to me when Doom3 came out. I went there at around 1am since I was passing by, but they didn't have it stocked yet.
With the way that's worded it could be interpreted as the ones who preordered will be able to pick it up on the 1st. Course it is walmart so they probably just have no clue about anything.
