I've been having the same problem, normal my ping isn't above 50 no matter what server I'm on. I also had problems with sounds from downloaded campaigns playing over the Crash Course sounds which was annoying. I imagine there will be a patch out soon enough though.
Me too. Everyone is hammering the servers. Try hosting, I had a full game hosting on my own rig with not too high pings!
