Obviously this depends if your exchange is ready for the trial. I'm sure other ISP's are offering this but I thought it might be worth posting.

This is because when Korea and Japan came to actually building an infrastructure, the technology was available, however in this country our infrastructure is antique.

One thing that's good about UK (and particularly London) is that if you don't want to be contactable by phone you can always argue that you were in the Tube! You can't do that in Korea and Japan since they have phone access in their subways!

    GODDOOMMOT FRONK

My town is filled with too many hicks for me to get fibre. Bournemouth apparently has fibre now. Damn banks.

I'd sign up in a heartbeat, but my Exchange isn't on the upgrade list.

It's like waiting for the ADSL rollout all over again. Oh, and then the unbundling rollout.

Damnit, I'm conflicted. I'm currently on Virgin 50Mb (which is awesome), but the upload is pathetic (1.5Mb).

So should I sacrifice 10Mb in download speeds in exchange for extra upload?

Would be really handy for home servers and accessing my files from work or while I'm travelling.

Might wait to see what their AUP is. Hopefully they copy Virgin and simply not have one.

Might have a little bit to do with population density as well ;)

    So that's 40Mb and probably 256Kbps upstream then :)

Signed up, 4Mbps at moment is almost depressing (can just about live with it, but it's hard).

Yes, Virgin (scumbags) 50mb is a waste, upload is more vital then everyone thinks and they're screwing us on it.
