A/V VGA or HDMI to Scart or Svideo

Is there any way of connecting either VGA or HDMI to Scart or S-Video.

I'm trying to connect an Acer Revo 3610 to CRT Tv.

 

HDMI is competely out of the question, because it's a completely digital interface. VGA probably is too, even though it's analog. Short of a (very pricey) video converter, which could probably convert between any given format, you can *possibly* find an adapter that can convert the VGA RGB signal to SCART RGB, but I seriously doubt it.

I've had many answers, mostly involving upgrading my TV which I will do at a later date. No one has actually given me a cheap solution for my dilemma.

 

Whats wrong with one of these?

Dunno what that means tbh...

 

I was told you need a proper converter rather than just a cable changer. Not convinced this would work.

 

For a couple of quid aint it worth a try?

 

I'm pretty certain it won't work. But hey, it's cheap enough to give it a go.
