Is there any way of connecting either VGA or HDMI to Scart or S-Video. I'm trying to connect an Acer Revo 3610 to CRT Tv.
HDMI is competely out of the question, because it's a completely digital interface. VGA probably is too, even though it's analog. Short of a (very pricey) video converter, which could probably convert between any given format, you can *possibly* find an adapter that can convert the VGA RGB signal to SCART RGB, but I seriously doubt it.
I've had many answers, mostly involving upgrading my TV which I will do at a later date. No one has actually given me a cheap solution for my dilemma.
Whats wrong with one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-VGA-TO-TV...tZUK_Books_Accessories_RL?hash=item4a9e656337 Or did i miss something very obvious? EDIT: It says this: Note : Before place the bid, please be sure to check the manual of your system to make sure the Video Card of your system supports TV (RCA/S-Video) output through VGA port. Not every Video card will work with this adaptor. Only certain Video cards which have TV Output function built into VGA port will work through this adaptor. Dunno what that means tbh...
I was told you need a proper converter rather than just a cable changer. Not convinced this would work.
