And over the next few days this is going to be all over tech/news sites. MSI have just stirred up a major shitstorm. Not all publicity is good publicity and as Bindibadgi says, they've gone and shot themselves in the foot here. Major butthurt for MSI.

Quality! Just hilarious. It clearly references the 1st of April in the e-mail - so anyone complaining it isn't an April fools joke is missing the point.
As Bindi says many people who buy these products aren't the kind of technical 'elite' who browse sites like this and they really do need the support. Its just a bit too close to home to be considered a silly april fool. This is similar to going up to a fat person shouting "Hey stop eating all the pies fatty" and then shouting "April fools!" in March.
The April Fool is that they're banning people on April 1st. It would be a bit stupid to ban them then email warning them they'd be banned. /sarcasm
