Quick check to see where the cilinder is to be placed.

Dremeling a slot to place it.

After some extensive brain-draining I found a solution to secure the reservoir.
Two threaded studs and an aluminium strip.

This way to mount it to the chassis.

First a solid connection connection with the threaded studs.

    Some nice cap nuts.

Two pieces of that stainless steel tubing.

To finish it off like this.

I really like where this is going, its not one of the most popular logs i guess, but i always drop in to see it.
What would be extremely cool on this, is if it was possible for the top cylindric part, to retract in each other and open the case that way:D

hey sorry for the delayed response.
i color coded the parts in the following picture so i can explain what i meant.
the red part slides over the yellow part, and then both slide over the green part.
also, the blue panel can swing open, or slide over the left side. ideally for me, it would be best for "eye-candy"-sake to slide down, but given that the case will be on the floor, thats not an option:D

I see.... well, it would be a great option, but that would definitely mean I have to redisign a lot of the front panel. I will keep this in mind for a future upgrade, for now, I need to get the case done first before the deadline. After that I have more time available. Thanks for participating !!

No prob mate, since i dont have tools or money or skills to begin modding at this time in my life, the best i can do is help, encourage and inspire others, so i try to do it as good as i can.
Maybe you transfer this idea on to a later transformers-themed mod:D
    cheers

He could even go crazy and attach it to the wall :D then it would be even more realistic :D
Though as Frenkie says he will have to do that later so he can finish it for the deadline :p

Next problem ( I mean ofc challenge) :p the flowmeter. I want to use this in combination with the reservoir. I had great difficulty placing it where I wanted too, with the standard existing in- and out let. So i mounted two 90 degrees
    connectors.

This way, the total height of the flow meter stays within a reasonable size.

Now I first need to make a solid point from the case. (attempts to mount it to the reservoir all failed)

This is the way to mount it just above the reservoir.

    Mounted the Forex front.

    Sideview.

    LOVE the flow meter !
Just one thing (maybe hard to judge from the pictures) but it looks a bit... hmmm... small ?
I mean the little fanblade in there... Will you really see it when it spins ?

Maybe it's an idea to backlight it ? Dunno...

I have cut two large pieces of Forex for both cirkels.

This connector of the waterpump is coming in one of the slotplates.

    There you go.

Started working with the giant on/off switch. Later on this will be covered with Forex.

These two wires for the pump: no way man!

There, that looks so much better.

All waterhoses are connected and the on/off switch mounted solid.

    'Genuine' Combine technology :)

Peeled all stickers of a Western Digital harddrive and mounted it to a Combine Transmigrator. :p
    [IMG]

When I modified the Transmigrator to fit the flux-deflector some nice sparks emitted!

Mounted the modified HDD to the chassis.

    With swing-arm for easy access.

    There, thats ok for now.

Your mods always turn out fantastic Frenkie & I'm still really liking this idea of doing a HL health dispenser case, it simply rocks :).

    Isn't that, like, 4GB big????

If it worked, you could have as your Win7 ISO storage.
