Hah, well screw you guys, I'm going to make the best of it! I'm off to wash the car and get another coat of wax on
WRONG. The world has had over 20 years of swirl marked vehicles because of that frankly stupid blunder in what was an otherwise great film. Any decent car detailer will tell you that you never use a circular motion when either washing or waxing paintwork, the only time circular motion is useful is in the polishing process. Otherwise, you use a linear motion. Period.
It amazes me that a movie such as this with so many other qualities inspired folk to go and wax their cars incorrectly. Oh well, we learn something new everyday, +rep
I enjoyed the weather today, made for an excellent birthday! Though my pastiness has diminished somewhat.
It was a nice day out. 55 degrees and kinda overcast, just warn enough for shorts and a light sweatshirt without getting too hot. And a nice breeze to boot..... It's better than freezing my ballz off in the Wisconsin winter and sweating them off in the summer.
A hot, sunny, beautiful day and that's the best you can come up with Matt, wash and wax the car!? lol
Weather is frigging awesome. Starting a bee hive in May/June --if the weather continues like this we should get a bumper honey harvest.
My in laws have bees they say you should give then a season to colonise before expecting any real returns. That said last night he was saying the same, it should be a great year for apiarists
Im looking forward to the warm. Here its been hibernating freezer air and I feel like a bear thats been stuck in a cave. Bring on the warmth. Hoping its at least in the 60's in may, when I have my vacation.
Explanation incoming! I was at work all day yesterday, got home around 5 which is really early for me. I'm a car detailing enthusiast, you need good weather to do what I do unless you do it inside under lots of halogen lamps, which I don't. It's exactly the same as a farmer getting a few good days of weather during the summer and using them to make hay while it lasts, they make the best of it. My car needed washed, clayed and waxed after the harsh winter weather we had so when I can get a couple of hours free and the weather is good, that's what I do! The more work I do now to protect the paintwork, the less I will have to do for the rest of the year. Allow me to point you in the direction of this thread for reference
You all can take the sun, I'm hoping it stays cold! One of the ski resorts in the area is already looking at an optimistic June 12th as the final day of the season. Skiing in June sounds too ridiculous to pass up, if it stays chilly they might actually have more than one lift open.
