I don't usually do this and I don't ever remember asking for it on bit-tech, but a few days ago my favourite independant artist, Kali Azzura, released her first ever single through bandcamp. I've been watching Kali's videos of covers and original songs on Youtube for years now and have always thought she has something really special that would make her a very successful artist if the right person discovered her. Unfortunately, despite a long presence on Youtube and even a recording trip to NYC, USA (she is from Australia) she remains relatively unknown. I know she would really appreciate just a few more hits on the video, and if you like it please show your support by buying it. I'm not really into this kind of music, but she has talent I wouldn't mind having that voice on one of my tracks! I'm going to buy the song, independent talent needs support!

Could be a very bright career for this one, just not quite my kinda music. Her acoustic cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit was good. One to watch, for sure.
Yeah, she won't be everyone's cup of tea, that's a given. I should say that I have an extremely versatile taste in music. Depending on my mood, you might find me listening to anything including but not limited to Rock, Jazz, Blues, Acoustic or good old (usually pre 00's) cheesy pop
She's good. Problem is, she doesn't look like a cute semi-anorexic tween so won't appeal to the masses. Still should make it as a good acoustic balad/blues singer.
Sad as it is, that's very true. Oh what a mess the mainstream music industry is in That's why I feel it's so important to support people like Kali and make sure that real music isn't lost forever.
