    @Danitgeek - Getting there, man.:D

    OK, Inspired by editor's orientation change. (That sounded gay.)

    -I imported this face, thinking I would delete the old one, but it freaks me out how well the two blended... I think my grandma had one of these to heat her bathroom.

    :worried: We were thinking along the same lines about underbelly venting I see.

    The purple square thing in the base is a PA140x3 model. I can't believe it's flopping around in this case like the proverbial hotdog in a hallway.
    @Bill - Yep. Inspired by the old hood gunsights. -Back when pedestrians knew what the road was for.

    Nice decoupling feet. You'd better have a nice though and hard surface under the case.

    I really like it, reminds me of very high end audio equipement (valve amp, full range horn speakers, etc.)

    Wow this is a hard model to work with, and has reminded me how much I hate Sketchup sometimes. Not so much because of the quality, but how complex it is. All I've done so far is add another fan hole up front, and that took me the best part of 30 minutes:

    I'm not sure if I'll be continuing with this one. I'm at my decent PC at my Mum's at the moment, but at home I have to use Sketchup running on WINE on a seven-year-old laptop. I have tons of ideas, but with this case...? It's hard to polish a turd to be honest.

    Yep. I wanted to play with turntable spikes.:D
    @Stuart - I've found SU works differently depending on the computer. If you are having problems with it not bending to your will, it might not be your fault.
    I think that's why Confusis chose it.:lol:
    Anyway, I'm done with thisone. I can't get myself to waste time adding components.

    Optical and usb are accessible through an (undrawn) door in the face.

    -The purple orbs house non-existent micro nixie tubes that give temps 'n stuff. Gunsight is an illuminated power switch.

    My attempt at doing som changes to the case. Used some inspiration from black stealthplanes... problem is that it isn't very black... or very stealthy either.

    How many ideas could one submit to this contest?

    You can keep posting drawings, but only one can be entered as Final entry. ...Awesome drawing btw, would be sweet military or airforce theme build.

    Ooooh! :D
    Welcome, eeced. You will want to submit only one for the final selection. Any more and you would be competing against yourself.
    ...but you can put as many designs in the thread as you want. The more you do, the more ideas you come up with. You might build something you like even more.

    For your current: not stealthy? You might add a zig-zag layer over the side panel edges. -like the fighter cockpit.

    @GuilleAcoustic- I'm done with that one.:p
