£100k is for a minty mint early S1 in good show condition really. Even late S1's in good nick can be had for <£50k.

    Another good episode me thinks.
Would love to visit Monte Carlo on a race weekend.

Awesome episode. I want to go round Monaco in a Fiat Abarth now. :thumb:

Missed the first 15 minutes, but from what I saw it looked good. Little bit disappointed they didn't give a verdict on which hot-hatch they thought was best but it was still great fun. :)

I don't remember when I last laughed at Top Gear so much. Very good episode IMO.

The DS3 was very subtle. Does it come with a pair of old style Reebok Pump basketball trainers?

The Scirocco is quite a bit bigger and a lot heavier than those three so doesn't really fit. In last month's mag they compared a diesel Scirocco to the new Mini Cooper SD and the difference was pretty big.

If I remember correctly, the DS3 is their car of the year 2010 and 2011. I think the Clio Cup has been out a good while, long enough to be a contender, so I think it's a safe bet that the DS3 is their favourite.

Personally I'd take either the DS3 or the Fiat 500.

I missed the topless ladies though. :sigh:

Jesus christ :D I thoroughly enjoyed the last episode. Seems like they're being a little bit more serious about things this series.

... Apart from some of the things they had to collect  :p

Ooooh - could Jake Humphrey be a SIARPC at some point in the near future?

    from his twitter feed:

That should be a laugh. :)

Which Lap board would he go on though? The F1 Drivers or standard Celeb board. I know, i know he isn't an actual F1 driver, but he is around them all during the race weekends. Getting hints and tips from 24 different drivers can't be bad.

Great episodes so far this season.
17x02 featured the funniest news since the "bull semen vs petrol price" discussion a season or two (or three?) ago.
As for he Hot Hatches - I'll take that little Fiat. The 500 stock standard is already fizzy. This thing should be just shy of retarded fun.
The DS3 is garish, and the Renault - well, it's kinda the wrong one... the Megane would be better, but bigger.

Might not be Jake in the C'eed on Sunday. According to the sports page on the Beeb - it's some bloke called Seb.:)

So that will definitely be on the F1 drivers board. :)

Well that was a great episode, new fastest lap on the F1 drivers board + insane cars you can get for less than the cost of new Nissan... thing. That Evoque is a thing of beauty too..
