Hi all, I believe you had to do 75 or more posts to be able to view the selling section on this forum, I passed my 75 post count last night and I still can't see the selling section :(

Can someone help me out, do i have to change anything in my settings for it? :/

I think you have to be registered for a minimum of thirty days as well as having a 75 post count.

According to the FAQ, you have to have 75 posts and be registered for 30 days before you can access the Marketplace forum.

    EDIT: Ninja'ed by M7ck :(

I also think the MOD's now have to 'grant' you access as well, So be patient, it will come in time.

It's 75 decent posts, not Spam, The last person who did spam there way to 75 posts, had 10 posts removed and a further week delay in access to the Trade section.

So if this was my 75th post (which it is) I might not get access to the marketplace? :hip:

Its not instant it update's every hour or so I believe so you should get access soon, And when you do its a good idea to read the sticky's first.

Ah bugger...here was me thinking that it was 50 days. Never mind. Looks like I have to put this stuff on eBay (I am under strict instructions to get rid of my spare parts from my lady)

Just out of interest though - is there any kind of trader rating for members there such as AVForums?

I'm afraid not. If you do see a sale in which you wish to participate you could do a search on the seller to see his/her past sales. Although the marketplace is not without its faults it is by far and away the best (for me) to trade on computer parts and tech.

Actually there is a place where sellers that people have had problems trading with are listed follow this link and and click on the link in there to see the listed sellers you will have to join the group to enlarge the index.

Teelzebub, that is not a rating system. What that is, is a reason for newbies to avoid the marketplace. It is a good idea (I did join when it was made) however when you have a group that only mentions the bad trades and you allow members to join that don't have access to the marketplace so therefore cannot see the good trades, it does make the mp look worse than it is.

While your right that it only show's the problem sellers any people new to the MP sould still check it out, And tbh the fact that theres only 3 names in there shows that the MP is actually a safe place to trade
