Case Mod - In Progress Ultra Box / Corsair 700D - NEWS NEWS NEWS!!!

I present my new project, named "Ultra Box" to make a mention of my old project "Mega Box", which was the junction of the ideas of the cases Corsair 800D and Silverstone Raven 2.

Now using a Corsair 700D case, I intend to make some visual and cooling modifications.

These hoses are only for testing... even they are horrible to install the fittings, so that if you look at the black fitting that I installed, it does not fit right, because the hose is not standard.

Testing, I did a full bench in 3DMark 11 (I got a tremendous fear that by using the CPU to the cooler box could burn... but in the end everything worked out... the maximum temperature was 82 in one of the colors so I think this is the safe limit of the cooler box... ), the results follow:

I bought an extender PCI-E x16 VGA and installed in the first slot, placing it higher up, the temperature improved, because the two are nearly equal.

I made a bracket to attach the VGA slots with acrylic, follow the pictures:

Today I had some good news and one bad.

The bad news was that the sheets where I ordered an acrylic colors that I ordered is missing, so for me to go ahead with the project need all, so this may take a little longer than expected, but nothing that delays the project schedule.

The good was that my orders arrived, but as I bought along with another friend, they came directly to him, and should only come to me next week, but at least it will be a big step for the project:

I changed the front panel, as you saw in previous pictures, I left the stalls all free, so I took a piece of aluminum that was left when I did the Mega Box and "recycle it" doing a panel for mounting the switch with LED.

Today I made the cut at the bottom for installation of two 12cm fans to aid cooling and airflow inside the case.

And with the help of a template of cutting and drilling of the fans MNPCTECH available on their website, I made the cuts.

I saw using the cut-glass and then I finished with 1200 grain sandpaper and spent silicone to give more shine







The images were taken at night, so it was a bit difficult to balance the tones for you to see better the effect, that live is much cooler, so the quality was not good muto, but at least it is possible to see the effect:
