I think the most important thing with this game is that they get the levelling system correct. It totally spoiled Oblivion. I've pre-ordered the game, but to be honest, I'm far more interested in what the modding community does to it. I'll play through just to get a feel for the new engine though
I've got a question for all of you who are looking forward to this game: How do you pronounce Skyrim? I've heard people say: 1) SKY-RIM 2) SKY-REEM 3) SKRIM 4) SKI-RIM 5) SKREEM Which one do you say? Which one is right?
I pronounce it like No. 1 on the list, as that is how it's pronounced. No. 3 sounds like the tape you put over the gaps between panels of plasterboard before skimming.
1). for sure. I recall in morrowind, the voice actors said it that way (bloodmoon expansion if memory serves me)
It's so close... :O I'm (very geekily) looking forward to the map, which according to the Bethesda blog is made from a material similar to burlap. When I heard preorders would receive a high quality premium map I was worried it was just going to be paper, but thankfully not. I'm so going to have the map rolled up on my desk, then get myself inadvertently lost and whip it out, unroll it and navigate from that. I just hope the map is as comprehensive as the Vvardenfell one was for Morrowind and not pointless like the one for Cyrodiil in Oblivion, which was merely a poster/display.
I am so excited for this game. Sadly enough more for this than any game in my adult life. But I dont care.
I am literally so excited for this. Will amazon post tomorrow as I ordered first class? In fact I don't think I've ever been so excited for a game....
I might even stop playing Take On Helicopters for a while when this arrives! It does look very good indeed. I really, really hope I am not disappointed - I have tried not to get too excited about it, but it is hard not to. Please, please Bethesda make sure it's good, please don't have just spent all your budget on marketing. Oh god don't let it be another Dragon Age 2. Damn, I am excited now.
what i'm Looking forward to well First getting up late to play it (taken day off work) not knowing what is going on, have paid very little attention to reviews and preview / videos hopefully a better leveling system. oh and finally Levelling up a Bow and Arrow or maybe a battle mage or maybe straight mage hmmm! but then i do like going all out barbarian
