Got a new toy in the house, and tried to make nice pics of that 960Gb monsta and some nice pics in my case :

 

Love the cooling for the RAM, and also, 960GB Revodrive? I think I'm gonna need some new pants now..

 

But i'm thinking about selling it for half of prize because i'm still not happy with it.

With the incredible MTBF of SSDs, I really don't understand why people buy just one disk, when you can get app. the same amount of space by using smaller, cheaper disks in RAID0. I know that bigger disks are slightly faster than smaller ones, but in RAID0 the smaller disks wipe the floor with the bigger single disk.

 

indeed, and with smaller ssd's in raid0 you can create still a large amount of space but a lot faster.

i have got a big question for you,

i am searching threw the hole web for a Coolit Boreas and Freezone Elite Cooling Unit but i cant get them anywere , can you tell me where you got yours? i really need them, or does anybody know where i am able to get these 2 Cooling Units? or who seels it.

There's a new baby coming to me, a Evga GTX285 Classified 1Gb vga, just for PhysX in my rig :





then i will have all Classified stuf in it :

SR-2 Classified mobo
2x GTX580 Classified for FPS
SR-2 1200w Classified Psu
and the gtx285 Classified for PhysX

 

Last stuf making for vga's, making 5 more of these, cut them on lenght, other side also connectors,
isolate them, make them black :

 

like this the connectors will be :



each vga 2 connectors, but behind each pair there are 3x 12v rails.
So vga's will get enough power
(and made shure the cables are not to tin for that power transfer)



only those bars need to come at the same hight as the connectors on vga's, so need some curves to get that
(don't mind the dust lol) :

Question : Have you done the power calcs for your poqwer mod?
From what ive read 2 x 8 pins and 1 x 6 pin is 375W,

Whats the diameter of your copper?

Also i may be jumping the gun before your next update but are you leaving them un insulated - Will be following this thread greatly

 

5mm solid bar red copper they are.

And it's then 375w 100% load what not will be always offcourse.

Offcourse i don't leave them like that, still working on it.
they are going to be black and made shure they can't tough eachother

 

You're gonna run electricity through those un-isolated copper bars? Really?
