I've a single nyan cat trail cap. I'll have photos of mine up tonight or tomorrow evening.

I kinda wish I had one of those ski data boards to use the extra caps on now. Might see if I can find some kind of extra programmable keypad. My favourite cap so far has (I think) gamma, phi, XII and 6 on it.

 

My wife thought it best to celebrate his birthday today, what with being back at school tomorrow. I whole-heartedly agreed.

I shall be cap counting tomorrow.

I gave up counting after doing the big lot... it made my brain hurt, and I probably got it a bit wrong lol.

I'm really keen to see what you guys got by way of white-on-black alphas and modifiers!

 

For 'counting' read 'sorting' - I'm fairly excited to see what's in there. I'm rather hoping for one of those black on orange Awesome faces.

And a blue 1.5 alt, just need to agree what he wants for it!

When they arrive with package from fuus, I'll have a full RGB set for the 1800

 

@GMC I was meaning to ask how you like the 1800 and what switches yours has. I'm really tempted to hunt for one... just not the awful G81-1800 with membrane keys...

 

Still trying to key up the g80 with blacks to start using that for a bit. Been rocking the skidata with clears for a while now and REALLY like that.
Wish my pure had clears but the LEDs mean soldering would be necessary to change the switches still. An excuse for an ISO GH60

 

I've been looking for a 1800 for a while Lenny, not found one yet. Pretty hard to come by in the UK I think?

There's one on ebay at the moment for £35 but it says G80/G81 which isn't very helpful...

I think I contacted him and it was a g81 so my switches.

If you aren't fussy about getting a wkl as I was then they appear regularly in the 60-70£ bracket.

I'd recommend posting on dt which is how I got mine.

Sounds about right... I don't think an 1800 with MX switches (even blacks) would be hanging around at £35

I'm happy to tinker with my bro's G80-3000 for as long as he lets me... might even persuade him to sell the caps and give me the board in good will.

If it have doubleshots the G81-1800 could still be worth buying of course. Current production 1800 is actually 1865 and they only come in browns generally, but also have NKRO/6KRO unlike nearly all the older models with only 2KRO so there is a bit of good there.
1800 layout is my favorite fullsize. The only thing that keep me from using one of my 3 on a regular basis for everything is the lousy 2KRO.
