Gaming Games to Watch in 2013

Thirded. Closely followed by Rome II. Neither of which I will be buying until summer, lest I fail my degree.

 

I'm waiting for GTA V guardedly. The story in IV was good, but the game itself kinda licked balls, and the porting job was done terribly. Still now, I think if I hear "cousin, it's your cousin!" again I might punch somebody.

And really, who am I kidding with GTA V? If it's not down to $12 in a Steam Sale, I won't even be picking it up this year anyway. God knows I've got a backlog it will take better than a year to work through from Steam Sales going back to the summer sale from 2011.

 

little weak to add showdown effect when aliens:CM, the last of us, two souls and a couple others are a bit more interesting to look out for since there is less answers than questions over these tittles than showdown and maybe simcity tbh

 

oh and ofcos GTAV and MGSV/phantom pain - zeros

 

Totally agree dude. I don't think there's going to be any middle ground with it, they'll either completely nail it, or we'll get another poorly ported title. Despite having a hefty gaming rig I think I'm more likely to pick this up on consoles when it eventually comes out.

 

Looking forward to Tomb Raider, just for old times sake, although that will be on console for me. Will be interesting to see what they've done with the story so long as it's not 95% cut scene/mash buttons.

For PC, well, GTA5 and X:Rebirth are the ones I'm keeping an eye out for.

 

No Arma 3?

Only game I'm concerned about is X:Rebirth

 

What no HL3? Maybe next decade

 

GTA IV, DoW3 but I very much doubt they'll manage it.

 

For an RPG fan like me, I'm most looking forward to Dragon Age 3. Hopefully it'll be more Dragon Age: Origins than Dragon Age 2, and be a throwback to classic BioWare adventures. If it's set in the Orlesian Empire, as rumoured, I'm expecting many silly accents.

HL3 is coming out with the new steam box later this yr. sounds like im joking, but gabe has already confirmed they have developed in and most likely coming out with their steam box this yr. and a big game to debut the console/pc box thingy... shut up and just take my money!
