    LOL, i get where i got my self confused :blush::hehe:

    LGA 1155 = Sandy Bridge
    LGA 1150 = Haswell
    LGA 2011 = Sandy Bridge-E
    LGA 2011-3 = Haswell-E

    Boy i feel foolish :duh:

    Also, Ivy-E (assuming current rumours are correct), will be on good 'ol LGA2011, and Ivy Bridge chips work just fine in *6* boards, so really, Intel isn't that mean. :p

    Someone better tell the DIMM makers then cause there's only ECC spec out there right now!

    I want ECC to come back on mainstream machines. I'll happily pay up to an extra 15% for it in fact!

    I cancelled my order for a Haswell upgrade when I realised the lottery on the maximium overclock
