It's as flat packed as it can be. The legs are shipped not attached to the desk but everything else is already assembled. The whole thing can be assembled/disassembled with a few hex drivers and a wrench.

Most of the cost is due to the weight, not so much the size. The desk shipping weighs is close to 130 lbs with the 8mm thick glass top.

Sweet mother of god 8mm glass! :jawdrop:

Amazing premium product. I hope this sells well for you.

You may want to offer a cut down version
with 2 smaller "windows" and something like plexi glass (some sort of plastic substitute)
    before the competition does.

Have to agree with this, no idea design wise, but offering something of a lower end, using something instead of glass etc would be a good idea to expand your potential market before someone else takes the opportunity.

We are working on a "budget" version of the desk but that won't be available for some time. The Cross desk is a premium product and the price reflects that. It may seem like a lot of money but you are not just getting a PC case (2 if you consider the fact it can house 2 fully liquid cooled PCs) you are getting a functional/useable piece of furniture that will last forever. Its not priced like a cheap IKEA desk that falls apart after a year or two. You could easily spend $2000 on 2x cases and a nice desk.

The dual system one looks awesome. I've often fantasized about having a girlfriend - sometimes I even pretend I have one. This could be just the ticket I'm looking for.

Does look call(edit: huh-I thinkimeant cool) though. Not sure my gf would approve. V.manly. No amount of pink wc will sway her.

If I had this, I definitely could afford to bang my girlfriend on this desk. :D

Might want to offer a rising option. Just make sure it can hold the weight but anything is possible at that price point. :)
