They should stop phucking around with user interface of their applications and go back to the tried and proven pre-ribbon UI. Putting likes of that imebcile Sinofsky in charge surely must have hurt them enough to realize that so I hope "making Microsoft the best place for smart, curious, ambitious people to do their best work", rather than hiring more clueless mongoloids promoting the Windows 3.0 look and duming down of productivity applications' UI.

Sinofsky case ought to teach them to never again go full retard.

Wasn't the pre-ribbon UI the Windows 3 look? And wasn't Sinofsky the guy who got Windows 7, the Jesus OS, out of the door?

Anyway, found on the desk of an admin worker:

Perhaps the OS and productivity applications do need dumbing down a bit. :hehe:

I don't think there is anything 'wrong' with the UI as long as it WORKS and the same goes for almost every aspect and incarnation of Windows 8. It just needs to work.

There have been far to many errors and failures to get a smooth experience. Even now, God knows how long after the actual launch there are still thousands having issues with upgrading to 8 and those with 8 trying to update to 8.1. That is the main failure. If the system just worked the way 7 worked after the mess of Vista, there would be virtually no argument by now as people would have been able to adopt and get used to the new changes, but as it is such a systematic cock up, people are all over the place.

Why would someone hire a person to work in an environment with computers who doesn't even have a basic understanding of how to use them ? We shouldn't be dumbing things down just because some people are stupid, or lazy.
