Guys, I have this PCIe x16 riser/extension cable.
Only thing is cable/ribbons have 8cm length and I would need longer.

    Mine looks like this one:

This cable has ribbons plugged, 100 pin and 60 pin. COuld I just get longer ribbons for it, or should I look for a ready longer riser?
Is there a way to buy those ribbons by particular pins amount and length?
I'm not in this subject, so wanted to ask you guys...

The one Jeff linked would do the job. You can insulate it yourself like the one in your original picture. All you need to do is wrap some tin foil around it, but do be careful!

Do I need to isolate it like that?

It's not insulation, it's shielding against electromagnetic interference. Not having it may cause screen artifacts. Some cheaper risers don't have shielding because it's not necessarily required.

Exactly as above. It's to stop electromagnetic interference. Without it, you may experience issues, but you may not. You can try it without it. At least you'll know how to solve it. :D
