You may like to know that TVR is being resurrected by a well funded team that includes one of the best engineers in the business, Gordon Murray.

I picked up my car from the garage this morning and had a bit of time to kill whilst I waited so I wandered over to have an ogle at some of more exotic toys in stock - wow.

A remarkably delicious selection in... like a kid in a candy store... without any pocketmoney.

More 458s than you can shake a stick at of course, and a handful of F12s and FFs of course, A Ghost, an i8, various masers and a DBS, a GT3 RS... boring, boring, boring (though I do have a special soft spot for the i8)

    The interesting ones...

    - Not one, but two F40s
    - Carrera GT
    - Daytona
    - 993 Carrera RS
    - And something else... oh yeah, Schumacher's '97 F1 car, POA of course.

Going back to my own car has never been so depressing... real life is so boring.

And one of the founding members of Bullfrog (the one that isn't famous for making wild claims he can't back up).

    Graypaul's?

Had a wander around there after closing a while back with a friend of mine who oversees any building projects that they or Sytner's have and had a sit and poke around in a few choice shinies. They had an F40 in for an engine rebuild so the whole of the back end was off and in various parts. Was awesome having a good look around the engine whilst it was on the stand.

Yep. I've been in a couple times before, once shopping, once nosing, but both times have been fairly tame... as tame as an exotic car dealer gets I mean, like sub £250k modern cars.

I was not prepared to be greeted by four vehicles with a combined asking price of £3.3m when I walked in! I was only popping over to have a nosey around the i8 they've just got in

They've just finished the Sytner refurb and look to have just started on the refurb at Graypaul - here's to hoping that massive shared warehouse between the two showrooms is going to be put to very good use.

    Wait wait wait.

What. You can buy that? I mean, if you meet the pre-requisite shitting gold bullion bit anyway.

I thought F1 cars were rather, um.. Dismantled and disappeared, apart from museum pieces. I didn't know they stood a chance of ending up at a dealership.

Okay, so I may have overlooked something. Just checked on the website, and it's sans engine and transmission.

    http://www.graypaulclassiccars.com/vehicles/ferrari-f310b/

Everything else is there though, so could probably buy the CGT as well and do a transplant job, might even get a bundle deal.

I've seen three tesla model Ss in the space of a week, two red and one black. Damn that's a quiet and cool car. I've also spotted an i8 and two i3s, although the i8 was in the BMW garage in town.
I've also seen an aston martin DB9 and porsche 911 targa (the latest one) And I now really really want one of those targas. It reminds me of the older ones but still looks incredibly sleek.

And they do seem to making the right noises, although us Loyalists have seen it a few too many times, so I think most aren't holding their breath till a car is seen, :D

even though maybe not THAT PARTICULAR one, yes, you can buy F1 cars.

This one, for example - they are suitably old, mind.

followed an R35 GTR for around about 30 miles yesterday lunch time. WAAAAANT. My little Caddy could just about keep up at 70. Unfortunately no amount of waving convinced the bloke to drop a gear and floor it :(

Saw a BMW 320 with an "M" badge. Not exactly "cool," but the owner probably thinks it is. Muppet.
