Banksy's new exhibition, a dark, subversive theme park, has been unveiled in Weston-Super-Mare. It looks interesting, is anyone thinking of going? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-33999495
Would love to go and see this, I went to the exhibition he had a few years back in a museum in bristol.
My partner and I intend to go, later in September when the fuss has died down. Weston Super Merd is easy to get to from where we are in West Somerset.
I'd love to go. A "bemusement park", in Britain (where, let's face it - we do like a good moan). It's genius.
I know myself and a few of my friends are thinking the same as it looks good, But I am a fan of the type of stuff banksy does anyway
Yes. I think that's the intention and it even calls itself “The UK’s most disappointing new visitor attraction”. It's brilliant!
Thing is though most of the "art" is by other street artists only ten pieces are actually Bankseys own work.
Yes, but I don't see that as a bad thing. People who like art in general will probably enjoy seeing a range of artists works, providing they follow the same theme of course. I've just read this in another review: "The entire exhibition is staffed by morose Dismaland employees who seem completely uninterested in being helpful or informative. Getting in requires an uncomfortably awkward NSA-esque screening, and even trying to find the exit required a near herculean effort." http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2015/08/dismaland/
