Hi all, Just about to move to a new house and wondering if anyone had any recommendations/mates rates packages for media bundles. The area i'm moving to has virgin, the house doesn't have a sky dish but we can have one installed. Currently with Virgin in my others half's name, but could sign up on mine for new customer bonuses. Was with sky for quite a long time prior to virgin. Need quick broadband that is unlimited downloads (stream a hell of a lot of HD content), not to fussed on what channels are available as long as can get the basic free to air, but some kind of record function is a must. Would be nice to have sport but not essential, excuse to go to the pub). Any recommendations on what's out there? Cheers Ferino
Thank you. Could go that route, found it easierin the past to get the broadband bundled in with a basic tv package though. Have a Tv that can receive freeview and record to a hdd. It's a bit clunky compared to skyplus or Tivo though, the other half prefers to keep it simple.
I can get you half price sky for a year. I'm not customer services though, so after I send you the code you are on your own.
Personally I wouldn't touch sky or TalkTalk internet with a barge pole. PlusNet now do TV packages as well as phone and broadband.
I'm running with virgin Internet without a phone line. For tv I have Now TV entertainment and free view tuner (though I mostly live on the roku input). It's not as good as having proper sky box, but not so much worse that I can justify stumping up for the "equlivent" (discovery channel) package.
That was almost funny wouldn't change you day job though that is working for sky isn't it ? But plusnet are doing TV now obviously not as much as sky but sky is 90℅ repeats http://www.plus.net/support/tv/channel-packs-list.shtml
