I hit level 40 in the beta I think so been a long while. Does anyone fancy duo queueing ranked some time? I'm currently fluctuating between rank 16-20.
I'm still trying to raise rank above 30 I fell to rank 48 after placements and made it to a high of 32. Fell back to 38 and have climbed back to 35 again so far... It's a long climb... Frustrating as my QM status on hotslogs is gold league and people play different at different skill levels
Is there a 2 second delay in this game? being on a virgin 50mb/s connection it's freaking ridiculous like when mouse clicking the action happens two seconds late, on everything movement, attacks,
Not nice man. I get that if i'm in a hotel and playing on laptop over WiFi to the internet connection from my mobile with a poor signal. The game works on player inputs every 1/16 second. Effectively having the server process all player actions at 16fps. All the rendering happens on the client PCs. Your latency may be a problem cause, as without confirmation of your actions being processed or advice of other players actions the game on your machine has no option but to halt. Does it happen in try mode? as that is all happening on your machine.. Finally broke out of the 30's and reached rank 29 in Hero League today! May not sound that high, but I've climbed there from rank 48 - barely 2 losses from the bottom of the pile. Feeling proud. How is everyone else doing?
I think we have 8, but not all regularly playing. If anyone hasn't already tried it ARAM is a lot of fun. In the chat panel type: /join ARAM There's usually a custom game invite going Everyone picks random selection characters and you play the game on one lane. No leaving lane, no hearthing back for health or mana, no mercs, no objective. Great way to test your team fight skills... unless you randomly get abathur - then you're a bit screwed till lvl 10
So I'm still hovering around rank 28-29. Had a HL game earlier today and first pick instalocked Greymane. Our Malfurion DCd at 4 mins and only reconnected to watch our core explode. It's bad enough that I lose the full points for having a bit on our team the whole game, but I checked hotslogs after and our greymane was lvl1! Who the ***k instalocks a hero they have never played before in HL?!

Just started getting into Heroes again after a brake. The new hero seems pretty good but I still prefer Jania to Li-ming, I like the control Jania has, she also has the best play making ultimate in the the game so.. yea Jania > Li-ming Going to practise over weekend before hitting hero league to push r1
Had a few games today and yesterday. Weekends are a crapshoot of salty people with massively varying skill. The moment it starts you can see people's gameplay get worse as they go on tilt and try to 'make plays' instead of play safe. During the week I can play for hours and not see this crap more than once.
The question is, did you intend to bait them past the horseman in the hope they would engage or just make the best of it?
Haha, yes it was intentional. I needed to bait them in. 3 of my team just wiped to them in that top corner after trying to boss - the puffer you see me throw was to zone Leo's escape. I needed to bait them so they didn't go for the altars because the boss had leashed and Leo and I could not have defended an altar effectively. Given the situation, the idea was already in their heads so they would start it without thinking if it was put in front of them. We would have lost the game otherwise. The march was a desperate hope and I went back in to try and make sure they didn't collapse on Leo and give up the boss. All down to them not playing smart but killing any player makes folks power drunk in this game and that boss is seriously underestimated by most teams. Edit to add: Initially I just hoped the march would slow them and allow me to cap one altar but they were killing it and dying so quickly, going back in seemed a better move.
So today I'm playing quick match in a group with 2 others. One friend has almost 2k games vs players, myself and the other about 800 each. Out total hero levels are in my case nearly 200, another 270 and the final member of our group 392. How in the holiest of hells did we get a teammate with 280 games played and a total hero pool level of 45. Including a lvl 20 Sgt Hammer?! If they were a good Hammer that would be something but it was like they had never played the game before. Seriously, what kind of matchmaking is that??
This is the type of games I've been getting lately. Yet something in this one I was the one who didn't know how to play.
The comps look reasonable and cant see it on the first couple pages of your hotslogs so guess not uploaded. I queued as ETC with LiLi yesterday and got matched with Cho Gall and murky against a typical comp... We won but still that's a rough ride.
Well in that game, I had Zagara telling me I was bad. This coming from a specialist with 1/6 of my siege damage.
