    Been waiting on these for a long time. Having another player in the SFX scene should help to drive things forward. Given most builds are going to be within those power brackets, it almost makes sense to push for SFX PSUs in larger cases, just leaves more room for cable management and other features.

    I look forward to a review, it'll be interesting to know how these sound compared to sfx-l.

    P.S. "toom" first line of the third paragraph.

    SF450 = £90, SF600 = £120
    Prices from Corsairs shop, nowhere else has them listed at the moment. The 450W is priced a little below Silverstone's 450W modular Gold unit, the 600W a little above. Both are prices £10/£20 above Silverstone's units.

    :eyebrow:

    Silverstone's 450 and 600 watt GOLD units are £80 and £100 respectively.

    You're correct, I was sure I'd just seen the 450W gold for £90.

    Why are these so much more expensive than standard ATX PSUs? Especially given that mITX boards are cheaper (generally).

    Whilst it may not be indicative of the actual retail price, the corsair units are up for pre-order on Scan for £70 and £95

    Just need beQuiet to put out some 80+ Gold-rated ones now...

    That makes more sense. I was wondering why they would attempt to break into a market by going in higher than the competition.

    Also wonder if they'll follow silverstone's lead and offer a short[er] set of cables for it/them...
