News Ubisoft delays Watch Dogs 2's Windows release

Ubisoft... same old, same old.

It just highlights how much work there is to achieve anything close to the (comparable) greatness of id on DooM's engine right at launch. I don't remember a game running so flawlessly from performance point in the first few days after launch. Ubisoft should have taken notes.

 

I'm always happy with delays. I'd rather have a finished product at launch... I remember when all games had to work properly at launch!

 

Give them time to delete all the promotional videos with fake textures and game play.

 

How nice of Ubisoft to free up our schedule to play stuff like CIV 6, Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2 or Dishonored 2 instead, its almost as if we could do without any ubisoft release at all

 

After feeling major cheated when I got watch dogs, I am not at all interested in WD2, i have no faith in this studio and no doubt the PC release will still be bad.

 

Unless it's a free game code, same. I will wait to see user reviews on performance.

 

Thing is with all of the bugs, the terrible performance and seemingly endless wait for patches that still didn't fix it the first one wasn't even really a good game.

I got two copies of it from buying two GPUs and that was two too many.

 

Played the 1st one for 20 minutes.
Awaits Dishonored 2.
