People: I wish MS would get rid of that legacy junk and bloat from windows...

Same people: Paint and screensavers? Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!

They've been trying to kill Paint off since Windows 8, first with 'Fresh Paint' and now with Paint 3D...

I hope paint sticks around for many years to come. I find it quite handy.

Paint is an absolute must have, a more convenient place to paste screenshots to and crop them does not exist.

Wouldn't you just use Snipping Tool and have your screenshots the right size to start with?

I find print screen button on keyboard then pasting it into paint much more convenient.

What about apps like lightshot? Can just press Print Screen and crop there and then in a moment, or configure to do other things.

Or just use ALT+Print screen to capture the active window once you've resized it.
