    ..yeah, can we have a price that actually reflects the £/$ exchange rate please.

    ..just like what happened when the pound dropped below $1.20, you were pretty damn quick to raise prices then.

    £1 = $1 is in no way justified any longer.

    ..at a minimum, prices should be 5% lower and closer to 10%, even taking into account VAT.

    $599 is £466.38 at current interbank exchange rates. Plus VAT, that's £559.66 - and VAT ain't the only expense for a foreign company selling into the UK, 'cos there's import tax too.

    If it falls under "Section XVI: Machinery and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment; parts thereof, sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles - 85 Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles - 21 Video recording or reproducing apparatus, whether or not incorporating a video tuner - Other" (just my quick guess) that would be 10.4%, bringing the price to £617.86.

    In other words, you're actually getting an £18.86 discount over the US pricing at the moment.

    Is there any chance of BT getting hold of the HP Windows VR headset for a review? Was close to pulling the trigger on the oculus at its current price but very interested to see how the Windows headset performs and it's compatibility with existing titles.

    That's an easy one: there isn't any. Windows Holographic HMDs work with neither SteamVR or OVR titles.

    Whether they will ever work is up for debate. Microsoft are not a member of the OpenXR group, and Windows Holographic is UWP-only, so any cross-compatibility would need a UWP-based interface to act as an intermediary to do protocol translation. Oculus already have a UWP interface for OVR (used in Minecraft Windows 10 Edition) but don't seem interested in bothering with translation layers for other HMDs until OpenXR is completed, and Valve throw a bit of a wobbler* whenever the Windows Store is mentioned to an official compatibility layer from them is unlikely.

    * And by "throw a wobbler", I mean "half-assedly develop then mostly abandon an OS once their sky-is-falling proclamations of the end of Win32 fail to occur, and effectively nobody picks up their OS to use"
