Nice Aston Martin V12 Vantage yesterday.
Don't see too many here in Australia by the time they get hit with our luxury car tax etc they are nearly double the UK price...

A special couple of moments, P1 LM and a Z8 within about 5 minutes of each other on the opposite side of the M40 near Bicester this morning.

Had to run a few errands this morning and thought I'd take the toy, since it could be one of its last outings before hibernation for the winter and it was a pleasant morning. Turns out I'm not the only one with that idea.

Parked up across from a lovely black Aventador at Toys R Us (perfect car for toy shopping, IMO) and next to a red Cali T at Sainsbury's.

A 2017 Morgan 3-wheeler going the other way across a crossroads on the way to work this morning.
Yes, the driver was wearing a woolly hat!

Saw a gray BMW 3.0 CSI last week. Love those old BMWs.

That's sweet I've only seen pictures, Morgans are cool, old school.

17 plate Audi RS6 looking like poop in the retail car park. Hard to believe this car does 60mph in 3.7 sec.

It's getting out of hand - am I the only one that's getting "acceleration fatigue"?

Take a car, give it AWD, a heap of midrange turbo-torque, dual-clutch, and make sure the engine is entirely without character and emotion = profit. It doesn't matter that the off-the-line party trick gets boring not long after the test drive, you've already forked out by that point.

My best guess: the senior member of society driving the car probably isn't in the least bit interested in an engine with character and emotion. Also, it seems that acceleration fatigue diminishes significantly as you get older. My mum got clocked at 92mph earlier this year, and despite having to deal with the embarrassment of paying her first speeding fine in almost 50 years of driving, she still gets giddy every time she gets in her Cooper S.

I'm not sure it's 'cool', but I don't see many sugar cubes around. Kinda weird to see one parked across from my front door.

Saw this Granturismo today but wasn't quick enough to get a snap. The reg made me think about posting this in Demotes... what a terrible thing to do to such a nice car.

I must take some pics of the super cars, McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo etc that are at my David Lloyds Club, which shares the grounds with Exeter Chiefs. :)

Bearing in mind that my commute is in the wilds of North Wales (about 200miles from London), it was surprising to pass a 1950's London Routemaster bus yesterday morning. Also some recent flavour of lime green Lamborghini (possibly a Huracan?) on the way home.

Saw an Aston Martin with a spoiler fly past me last week but can't for the life of me work out exactly what it was. Had some serious speed and sound to it.

    All the cool things.

Just spent the day at Beaulieu supercar show, staying at a hotel around 300m from the driver's/exhibitors entrance/exits. I've been sipping a beverage overlooking the road for the last hour or so.

    Of particular note:
    DB4
    DB5
    Z8
    Huracan performante
    New Griffith
    Aventador X3
    308 GTB
    Bowler Bulldog
    Sagaris
    Viper
    Dino
    Daytona
    MC stradale
    430 Scud 16M
    Vantage GT8
    Marcos mantis
Unfeasibly loud and awesome sounding XFR-S wagon
    7 roaming donkeys

Along with all varieties of more general exotica that would be noteworthy in any other circumstances.

    Is good.
