    Heard the same 'opportunities for growth and development as part of a larger company' when he took over Broadcom, just lead to a lot of jobs losses throughout US and Europe :( he is a shrewd operator, they'll have an amazing first year though package wise with the stock transfer :)

    btw, I thought they'd already rejected the offer, and Broadband were re-positioning for a hostile attempt.

    I suspect as customer: More competition is good, so this would be bad.
