Heard the same 'opportunities for growth and development as part of a larger company' when he took over Broadcom, just lead to a lot of jobs losses throughout US and Europe :( he is a shrewd operator, they'll have an amazing first year though package wise with the stock transfer :)

They get it from a bunch of fisters.. no, that's not it... anchors no, sounds like anchors... and venture capitalists, who are also mostly anchors.

btw, I thought they'd already rejected the offer, and Broadband were re-positioning for a hostile attempt.

    "Qualcomm staying mumm."?

I suspect as customer: More competition is good, so this would be bad.

"Mum," one "m" (I just went to check I hadn't typoed!): from the Middle English "mum", meaning "silent," itself possibly derived from "mummer", an early form of mime actor. "Mum's the word" means to say nothing; "staying mum" or "keeping mum" means to remain silent.
