Aww that's a shame. How could you have the audacity to return that? IDK man, people these days.

Err, would it not be someone returning a phone to Amazon because it's arrived smashed? Nothing cheeky about that, is there?

No chance of that: the box was pristine, and the phone didn't have its shipping plastic on. It's definitely been used then dropped (and, by the look of things, repeatedly kicked against a brick wall.)

Mind you, I think Amazon has accidental damage cover you can pay for, so it might have been a legitimate return.

Great up here, there is about 8/10 inches of snow. Just back from the paper shop which would have been a wasted journey except I love walking in snow. I thought my bank robbing outfit was the most suitable attire.

Achievement Unlocked: Ride a motorbike in the snow.

Had to wave 3 or 4 people back because they think that in this weather it's still perfectly acceptable to pull up so close to biker's rear wheel that they could reach out the window and stroke my arse, but still - good fun. Glad I left when I did though; main roads were fine but my street has a good half-inch to an inch now, and I don't fancy coming off right at the end of my trip home!

True, but it's a lot easier to lose traction when you only have two wheels in contact with the road and you're on a vehicle that has to keep moving in order to stay upright ;).

Do DPD know more about the coming weather conditions than the BBC?
I have received two emails from them this morning apologising for the delay in delivering my Dyson V8, the first email rescheduled the delivery to Sunday the latest email has revised this to Saturday.

Oi, why are you not at work.

Doesn't take much to know more than the BBC to be fair. The same way F1 teams have amazing weather prediction for tracks.
