    'Quantum supremacy' always reads to me like it should be an oxymoron. Not the most confusing aspect of quantum mechanics I grant you.

    Strikes me as very dystopic. "2020: The machines declare quantum supremacy, and herd the remains of humanity into Protection Zones."

    Quantum Supremacy sounds like Sci-Fi RTS to me... Like an expansion to Supreme Commander.

    They are different enough that a vulnerability that resembles an existing one in concept would get its own name.:grin:

    Vulnerability naming conventions aside, Quantum Computing is in such an extremely early stage of infancy that actual products somewhere down the road will have almost nothing in common with this concept anyway.

    I expect quantum computers to be both vulnerable and not vulnerable at the same time.
