Just found out was nominated and won (with others) a global recongnition award in work for my efforts before and during society's collapse, get a nice company branded jacket, my name on a big wig meeting presentation and a little bit off amm for the office banter on returning to normal.

According to Experian, my credit score is steady at 922. Given my financial record since leaving school and right up until a few years ago, it's completely beyond me how it can be so high.

The effort involved in taking the top and sides off of my espresso machine to install the wireless module remind me how awesome it is that I can now adjust key settings from my phone.

Surprisingly plug and play for such a uber-niche thing. Plug in, switch on, press the reset button on the module and connect to it's wifi hotspot to configure your home wifi deets, ..., Profit.

    Pleased in the extreme.

Well, now it has internet access I expect it summons some sort of coffee-related punishment.

It looks sentient, it probably runs the pressure up to the point it almost ruptures then detonates next time you get near.

@Mister_Tad would have a fit even if you put non-bottled water in it so I can't imagine how he'd react to that.

When I first saw that, I thought you'd installed a phase change cooler in your PC.

You think Nescafé is bad? A friend of mine I've not seen for years, used to buy the really cheap powdered stuff and make it so you could stand the spoon up with it. It was horrible, really horrible, worse than aniseed and I can't stomach anything with aniseed.

Nothing wrong with Nescafé... there's worse you could drink (EDIT: see post above this).
OK; freshly ground/brewed is better, but given I use a 900ml mug, I dunno there's an affordable machine I could buy that can readily make that much at a time, as often as I'd drink it.

It sounds to me like there's something wrong with Nescafé if your go-to defence is "there's worse you could drink"

No... I meant that Nescafé isn't the worst.
