A decent price for a cool looking chassis. Hopefully the cooling will be better this time around.

Isn't this the definition of how not to mount an AIO?
Pump at highest point fighting against air bubbles.

Apart from possible AIO problem. I love idea of this case, if I were to build a SFX that sits on the desk, its footprint has to be as small as possible.

I am with you on the AIO, but I have to say my ITX has a 5 year old H60 mounted like this (only option) and I am now about to swap it out "proactively" I think if you are prepared to replace your AIO within the 4 year mark or so, mounting it like this when running at stock levels isn't a big issue.

If the price isn't too insane here in Japan, I'll probably get one of these. I really want to upgrade my little ITX box, but finding a GPU appreciably better than a 1070 which is ~170mm or less in length is next to impossible... at least for a reasonable price. I could get an ITX 1080Ti (which when it released was about 2.5x the price of the 1070 I bought) but it would cost more than an RTX 3080, new case, new PSU and new SSD combined!

    Something else I'd never considered...:o:

Crikey! Any one piece of kit that costs more than that lot should raise an eyebrow!

The prices of the higher end RTX 2000 series and the specialist GTX 1000 series cards have gone crazy here since the RTX 3000 launch. Last time I looked, a 3080 was fluctuating around ¥95-150,000 depending on stock, brand, model etc, a 3090 will be around ¥230,000 and a 2080Ti will be around ¥200-250,000. Yes, the same price as a 3090. Madness. I'm ignoring Akihabara prices (which can be cheaper if you find the right store) as I live too far away for them to be even remotely relevant for me.

Basically I'm going to wait until the next financial year and GPU/CPU stock issues to resolve a little, then probably go nuts with a full new build - which will use this case if I can get one.

Yeah, Nvidia really screwed the pooch when they cancelled production of the old chips so long before the new stuff has any real supply.
