Following on from my thread in the marketplace where I was on the hunt for a GPU for a young lad with Autism after his PSU went pop and took the GPU with it.... He LOVES lights, I don't know if its a sensory thing or what but he's really into light up keyboards (he just doesn't have one...yet ) Does anybody have any experience with the cheaper gaming keyboard / mice? I'm going to buy him something but can't really spend a fortune as I've already put quite a bit of my own money into it because since my daughter was born I've turned into a massive soft ass. Appreciate any recommendations folks!
Its this type of thing. They are a standard layout sort of affair that all sorts of manufacturers seem to adopt but they change the name. Sumvision Acies Mechanical LED Gaming Keyboard Full Tenkeyless Tkl Multicolour Illuminated 100% Anti-Ghosting for Windows PC Laptops Programmable Macro & Gaming Software Suite UK Layout PC: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories You cant change the colours but you can set it to do fancy patterns etc
Are you looking for full RGB, or just any kind of lights? I've got an Element Gaming Beryllium in good condition you can have. No box though. Only had blue LEDs rather than rgb, Kailh red switches. https://play3r.net/reviews/peripherals/element-gaming-beryllium-mechanical-keyboard-review/3/
depends what you call cheap on keyboard front I bought a ROCCAT Horde AIMO last year, moved it on to my daughter as it was a bit bulky but prefer its feel to both my Logitech g915 and Mx Keys, particulalry on the noise front and these were 3-5x the price of the Horde, it is 35quid from scan, or less if you don't want the palm rest or rgb even cheaper bought my daughter this bundle ~30quid https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MLRXWYZ very gamer but actually not terrible.
