went to play BC2 today but for some reason i cant play the single player campaign. i let it install the new updates before i played it, but when i click on resume game i get the "map" screen that says loading but then it gives me an error message saying: disk cannot be found, please insert a disk into harddrive/hd2 ( or something along those lines). i can play online multiplayer just not the campaign, yet it was working last week before i had the update. also when i installed it i told it to use online authentication so i dont have to have the disk in, but i have put in the disc just to make sure this somehow hasnt changed i tried playing it with the disk in but same error again. my computer is authorized and ive tried de-authorizing it to then reauthorize but it doesnt seem to recognise i have de-authorized so that solution didnt help at all. anyone else having/had this problem? anyone have any solutions?
just fired it up again and the full error message is : disk not found please insert a disk into drive: device/harddisk1/dr1
At least you can play multiplayer, i think i got a broken copy If the clean install dont work then im out of ideas Good luck
My config got wiped after the update, took me a minute to figure out why I couldn't knife Does this happen with every update or did I just get lucky?
I had a prob with the last update in that it would let me load where I had left a chapter. Had to restart the chapter. May help cure it?
When i start up single player and hit resume game i don't get an error message just a CTD. might have to try starting a new game. Its only started after the last update.
