That's not bad, but Steam often have the entire GTA collection for £5. I know what people are like with games and Steam. +Rep though Sam
we over here known about it for years. imagine that, you guys are in the home of rockstar too? great post, though.
Gta was revolutionary. The first was amazing and will always have a special place in my memory, as mediocre as it looks today.
Nice! Im going to get on it and get them downloaded when Ive finished work When I first played GTA and GTAII, it was easily my favorite game at the time. However, they excelled themselves at Rockstar with San Andreas, and again with GTAIV. Lets hope the fifth is just as revolutionary!
I installed gta 1. Nearly got an epileptic fit. The graphics options were only for 32 hertz or multiple there of. My screen is 60 Hz
well when it gives resolution options like 640x480x16 and 640x480x32 I'm assuming the last number is indicating the refresh rate. Which doesn't fit well with the refresh rate of modern screens. When the screen is flashing rapidly in front of me coupled with these graphic options Im assuming there is a refresh rate problem. Either way its not worth the trouble to me trying to find a fix just to play such a retro game.
I didn't really like GTA when it came out, I was much more into Carmageddon. GTA didn't really become interesting until 3. Also, where have you people been? It's been free since 2004 LOL. The 16 and 32 are reference to color bit depth, you want 32bit. It has nothing to do with refresh rate, though your monitor may be struggling at dealing with such a low resolution. Mine refuse to go below 800x600 for example. Try playing it windowed, and yes that does make it tiny... but there is only so much you can do with it.
ah that makes more sense uninstalled really not worth the time I've already put in screwing around with it.
