So i just got a netbook, for travelling computer use, wifi round the house, and bedtime i cant sleep browsing bit-tech use.

But as i may not have the internet is some parts of this horrible land not offering me free wifi...

Can anyone give me the names of some good old games (wait isn't that a website? :p ) that will comfortably play on it?

I've got Half life, wolfenstein ET, World of goo, and crazy taxi on it so far, oh and theme hospital, but has anyone got ideas for anymore?!

    Half life plays ok :)

Installed fallout, and i didnt really like it at all, turn based is just not for me.

However the back story to it i have jsut spent about 2 hours reading up, and looks like ill be purchasing fallout3 soon!

Erm in netbook gaming news ive got n64 emulator working wonderfully, and playing 1080 snowboarding and waveracer ( of which are still in my wardrobe last time i checked!) on it.

Installed a nes emu as well, but i cant see it getting too much use, the games/console was a bit before my time...

Drat, was gonna say that :p

AvP2 should be able to run, as well as Neverwinter Nights.

    Worms will definitely run

You'd need a mouse for a couple of these...

    Diablo Dos
    Crysis
Quake III, or the open source version
    Lords of the Realm 2
    Boulder's Gate/Icewind Dale

I know I'm forgetting some other favorites, but can't dig them up from thine olde memory.

This is a low-tech open-ended RPG that I play on my EEE a lot.

Running on my 512Mb equipped One

GTA: SA - 15-25FPS at minimum settings, perfectly good for a quick blast
Warcraft 3 - 25FPS dropping to 10FPS in a big battle at max settings, turn a couple of things down and it's perfect
Albatross 18 - 20-30FPS, doesn't matter too much though, slow game
