Anyone here using BOINC to process SETI@home work units? You may or may not know of some other distributed computing projects that run in BOINC. I set up a team for ClimatePrediction.net yesterday (see relevant thread), and now I have set up a bit-tech team for Predictor@home. This also runs through BOINC and seems to be some type of protein folder. If you want to find out more about Predictor@home go here: http://predictor.scripps.edu/ If you want to join the bit-tech.net team go here: http://predictor.scripps.edu/team_display.php?teamid=1014 Everyone likes a good BOINCing session so go get to it guys
Nice one Froggy, just seen you on the team page. Let's BOINC! I dunno if you've noticed but you can decide how much cpu time each project gets. So if you want to do more SETI than anything else for example, you just log into your SETI account and increase the resource share value. Let's hope we get some more BOINCers eh mate!?
