I was not going to say-anything, but I felt the need: DUDE::
    MY projects are not "time-compressed"..
This is a "real-time" project log...This is how it "works", slow-BUT-sure..
You seem frustrated with my pace..
I would recommend you go HERE
It should only take seconds for you to get what you want.... :thumb:

Yes, the AC powder-coated APE grills look GREAT..It seems the Shark has switched to a "real-time" inventory (which is great-news). When I "checked-out" he had like five of each-size.. You had better get what you need.. :thumb:

    When Upgrades Attack:

I received a package from overseas today:
A few weeks ago the folks at Computer Upgrade Magazine ask if they could publish a picture or two of this project. What a silly question, of course..

I would like to say thanks to Computer Upgrade for there interest in the project.. :thumb:
I have new-found enthusiasm for the project and well get back to work this weekend..
    Update soon..

    Nicey, mr.I'm-now-a-publicly-acclaimed-modder! =]
But to be honest, credit where it's due, and it's due!

Btw, are you aware that Acryan has exactly the same looking rad grills as aqua (to my eye atleast), just without any text?

I noticed this as I was ordering some toys from a shop that's specialized in water and other cooling. Got one today (black) and it does look pretty good, the brushed 'silver' can be a different story though.

edit: one more thing, is there alot of difference in cooling performance between thetwinplex pro and the "regular" twinplex?

I don't know who you are asking from but:
These are what Acryan is offering and here is a direct link to A-C.de shop, the direct link is missing the top navigation.

    Thank you fellow-bit-techie's.
It is COOL to get a project you worked soo hard on mentioned in a PC-MAG..One of the magazines editors is a Bit-tech forum-member and PMed me asking if they could publish a picture or two of the project (like he had to ask). He liked the custom-paint.. They took some editorial-license and called the project finished, but we all know that is not true (not even close).

@Sathy: I have seen the AC Ryan grills, they look GREAT.. The only difference between them and there Aqua-Computer counterpart is that AC Ryan's are aluminum and Aqua-Coumpter's are stainless-steel..(at least I think that is true).

@Customholle: UPDATE late Sunday. For-Sure..I will get 6-7 hours of work/play in tomorrow, and the update will follow..ASAP..

    Here's the preview:
I tried to install the chrome-plated DVD drive in the case.. it WILL-not FIT.. :duh:
I guess Silver Stone uses tight-tolerances, the added thickness of chrome on the drive and black-paint on the case make it impossible to slide the DVD drive in place..The :dremel: will make things "right"..
Then "stacking-order" for the DVD drive, Aqua-Computer Aquaero VFD and MultiSwitch will be contemplated...
A "look-see" at the Asus mother-board in the case and then "play" with some Black acrylic which will make it's way into the case..What I can guarantee is 15-20 new pictures and a "hangover" when all is said and done.....
    Stay-Tuned..

Like anyone has any doubt to what that is :p But remember, friends don't let friends mod drunk!

Ah yes, no fun getting drives in cases that have the tight tolerences. I had the same problem with my CF drives. Best of luck getting that modded to fit, it can always be a bit tricky in areas like that.

Congrats on the magazine feature, it's always awesome to see your name in print. And this mod, along with BN, is definately worthy of it!

Well, actually AC Ryan make them in both aluminium and stainless-steel, the black ones are aluminium and the clear are stainless-steel, according to their site atleast - url in a previous post.

Be careful with the liquifying part of your modding =]

Yeah rite, as if. Wouldn't make much sence if so.

Trust me they don't , as ac rads have a slightly different pattern for the bolt holes :)
