It certainly is a Dell, Inspiron 6000 to be precise. Not a bad piece of kit actually. I got it back in July when it was reduced on the Dell site for quite a good price :)

I'd definitely recommend building a desktop for home use as they're a lot more comfortable to use (although I've been getting by with just a laptop for about 6 weeks now). Also if you're into gaming laptops don't really cut it performance wise.

Those mix and match tabletop/legs are awesome. I use it too, except I have the adjustable legs that curve out from the center, and the tabletop with the rounded edges stained a cherry color, like 30"x60"

Oooo I saw that table top, it was a coin flip between the two. I figured black/black would be a good choice - I need it to last a while and match anything I add. I didn't see the adjustable legs, but I kinda wish I'd looked harder, these legs leave much to be desired.

I have the white top/silver legs combination. Tis an excellent value desk, although seems to chip quite easily...I want something like this now but don't have a TFT to fit on it :(

The adjustable legs are great. They angle outwards at about ten degrees. Adjustable from like 2 feet up to 3.5 feet or so. There are big plastic feet curving in at the bottom. there are two beams running from front to back. The whole assembly is made out of decently think 2" steel pipe.

Sry A88, I don't really like that desk...heh it looks a little too bland.

Your setup is nice but height of your monitor looks really unergonomic. Is your neck often stiff? :D

    Here is mine:

Pictured Below is the following (except the laptop, not enough space for it all :( )

    4 Tower Computers
    17" Philips LCD
    21" Nokia CRT
HP Laserjet 4 Plus (with the duplexor and the extra paper tray)
    Sony DE-STR 697 Amplifier
    Alpage FL-4000 Tape Deck
    Yamaha YSP-105 6.1 Speakers
    Sony Mini Stereo
    Epson S3 Projector
Epson 86.4" Pull Down Screen (nothing quite like playing fear on that)
63 and 48 Key Musical Keyboards
    Canon S520 Printer
    Compaq Presario R3000Z Laptop

Printer Server, Web Server and Printer
    [IMG]

Projector, Bubble Jet Printer, Musical Keyboards and Sony Mini System

Monitors, Surround Stereo and WAP Antenna
    [IMG]

    Main Machine and HTPC

FEAR running on the big screen :)

I love this setup, and for some reason, i keep getting more and more stuff, which has to sadly go into storage until i get more space.

Funny you say that as I used to have all manner of problems until I saw my chiropractor and she advised me on my monitor height ;) You should have the top of the tft at the same level as your eyes when sat up straight or slightly heigher.

Ever since I raised it I've had far less problems with my posture ;) Something worth thinking about.

I had an iLap but it was frustrating me and I sold it last week on ebay, mainly as I wasn't using it but also as the powerbook will be going to a new home tommorow. (I'm on it setting it up as I type this). My replacement Mac Book pro wouldnt fit on the iLap is a secondary reason. :)
