Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about engraving the back of my eeepc 1005ha. I want to engrave Serenity, so I made a suitable svg in inkscape, here's a jpg of the pic i want:

I have the black version of the eeepc, does anyone have any suggestions on what tool I should use or even if this would look any good? I haven't done much engraving before, so would really appreciate any tips

you should try to find a place to CNC that design, very lightly. After that use white paint to highlight the lines

It would look much better than doing it by hand

A friend of mine has a laser engraver that is computerized so I can cut any vector files such as corel draw, adobe illustrator, or .eps files
He does some pretty nice stuff and his prices are reasonable let me know I can give you his email
