The current TPCast is a case & battery and some (really awful) software wrapping around Lattice Semi's (nee SiBeam's) MOD6320/6321 WirelessHD TX/RX module pair, designed for streaming video in mains-connected (and generally stationary) AV systems where latency is of minimal concern. I've yet to see it achieve the claimed "2ms latency" impact in practice - and that's just the downstream display latency, not counting the impact of upstream transfer of IMU data (plus controller data, plus tracking data in the case of the Vive) - so I'd take the "1ms" claim with a few gritter lorries full of salt, especially without knowing whose technology they are going to be reselling.
