What were the specs of your old one, what do you need it for, what currency do you use?

I'm not sure about laptop prices in the UK, but this laptop is something that seems to be 2-3 years old already (physically it's not, but its hardware is getting outdated). I understand that you have a budget you need to stick to, but there's a point where cheap is too cheap. Now if all you're planning to do on this is word processing and internet surfing then that would be fine, and in fact I might even encourage you to go for a netbook rather than a laptop. Basically this laptop will work, but expect to feel like you're using a 4-5 year old machine after 1-2 years of use.
