hi all, i'm currently in the middle of developing an access 2010 database for the company that i work for. part of their specification is to be able to store files within the database, but after i explianed the whole 2GB limit etc, they settled on having a list of file names and there respective location as a link. (hope that makes sence, if not i will explain in more detail) now the problem, i've managed, through the use of VBA to enable the user to select the file and store it in a table, this work fine for word, excel etc. documents, but when i store a pdf it stores fine, but the link doesnt work, but if i manually add it to the table, the link work fine, so what have i missed (if anything).
